The scaling tip of the UDS X-LED is constructed from a special material that facilitates the production of cavitation at the tip. This cavitation assists in the efficient cleaning of teeth, eliminating dental calculus, bacterial plaque, and even tough tea stains without causing harm to the gum or enamel. With automatic frequency tracking, the UDS X-LED consistently operates at the optimal frequency for each procedure. Moreover, the Woodpecker UDS X-LED is compatible with EMS handpieces and control boxes. Direction to Uses :

Preparation:

Ensure that the scaler and handpiece are clean and sterilized before each use.
Connect the scaler to a stable and grounded power source.
Check that the handpiece and cables are securely connected.

Handpiece Attachment:

Align the handpiece connector with the scaler’s handpiece socket.
Gently insert the handpiece connector into the socket until it clicks into place.
Ensure a secure connection to prevent any movement or detachment during operation.

Power On:

Press the power button located on the scaler control panel to turn on the device.
Check the display screen to confirm that the scaler is powered on and ready for operation.

Mode and Function Selection:

Use the control panel or buttons to select the desired mode, such as scaling, periodontal, or endodontic.
Adjust the power level according to the requirements of the specific procedure. Start with a lower power setting and gradually increase if needed.

Operation:

Hold the handpiece in a comfortable grip, ensuring a firm but relaxed grasp.
Position the scaler tip against the tooth surface at the desired treatment area.
Apply gentle pressure and activate the scaler by pressing the footswitch or the appropriate button on the control panel.
Move the scaler tip in a controlled and systematic manner, following the contours of the tooth surface for optimal cleaning.

Adjustments:

During operation, you can adjust the power level using the control panel or buttons if necessary.
Pay attention to the patient’s comfort and adjust the intensity accordingly.

End of Operation:

Once the treatment is complete, release the footswitch or press the power button to stop the scaler’s vibrations.
Gently remove the scaler tip from the tooth surface.

Handpiece Cleaning and Sterilization:

Detach the handpiece from the scaler by pressing the release button or following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Clean the handpiece thoroughly according to the recommended cleaning protocols.
Autoclave the handpiece at a temperature of 135℃ and a pressure of 0.22MPa to ensure proper sterilization.
