Woodpecker UDS -N2 LED Piezo-Ultrasonic Scaler With Tips

8,660.00

The dental scaler for removing plaque, tartar, and deposits effectively.

The Built-in Ultrasonic Scaler UDS-N2 by WOODPECKER incorporating the feature of LED light in the handpiece is used along with the dental unit for teeth cleaning.

The equipment’s working principle involves the coordination of various components, including the ultrasonic generator, cable, handpiece, scaling tip, pneumatic switch, and switch for the handpiece rack. When the handpiece is activated using the foot switch, the pneumatic power switch, pneumatic penstock, ultrasonic generator, and water supply are simultaneously activated, resulting in the vibration of the scaling tip. The LED lamp on the handpiece illuminates during operation.

Description

Description

The ultrasonic scaler operates within certain environmental conditions, including an ambient temperature ranging from +5°C to +40°C, relative humidity of 30% to 75%, atmospheric pressure of 70kPa to 106kPa, and water inlet temperature not exceeding +25°C.To maintain hygiene and safety, sterilization and maintenance procedures are recommended. Sterilization of the handpiece, scaling tips, torque wrench, LED lamp, and light pipe can be carried out using appropriate sterilization methods, such as autoclaving or disinfection with alcohol. Regular cleaning and lubrication of components are also advised.

It operates at a frequency of 28kHz+3kHz, generating ultrasonic waves that gently and efficiently break down stubborn deposits on the teeth, even in hard-to-reach areas. The scaler is designed for continuous operation, allowing dental professionals to perform thorough cleanings without interruptions. Its ergonomic handpiece ensures a comfortable grip and precise control, enabling dentists to navigate the treatment area with ease.

Features :

This built-in ultrasonic piezo scaler UDS-N2 LED is used along with a dental unit for teeth cleaning(scaling).
Optical handpiece, more convenient for clinical operation.
The handpiece is detachable and can be autoclaved to 135℃ and 0.22MPa.
Assembled with excellent piezo-ceramic, the handpiece has high and lasting power and generates little heat making it comfortable for the dentist and the patient.
The cavitation produced from the end of the scaling tip makes the cleaning of teeth easy by eliminating calculus easily.
Automatic frequency tracking ensures that the machine always works on the best frequency and performs more steadily.
The adjustment range of the amplitude is much wider than before.
Its small and light design makes it easy to operate.
CE and FDA certificated.

Direction to Uses :

Preparation:

Ensure that the Guilin Woodpecker ultrasonic scaler, UDS-N2 LED model, is properly assembled and sterilized before use.
Connect the scaler to a suitable power source and ensure that it is securely plugged in.

Patient Preparation:

Ensure that the patient is comfortably positioned in the dental chair.
Place a protective bib or towel around the patient’s neck to prevent water splatter.

Handpiece Setup:

Attach the appropriate scaling tip to the handpiece. Choose a tip based on the treatment requirements and the condition of the patient’s teeth.
Tighten the tip securely using the provided torque wrench.
Connect the handpiece to the scaler’s main unit.

Water Irrigation:

Fill the water bottle attached to the scaler with clean, distilled water.
Adjust the water flow control knob on the scaler to ensure a steady stream of water during the procedure.
Position the water nozzle close to the treatment area to facilitate efficient cooling and debris removal.

Power On and Settings:

Switch on the scaler’s main unit using the designated power button.
Set the desired power level according to the treatment requirements. Start with a lower power setting and gradually increase if necessary.
Adjust the scaling mode (continuous or intermittent) based on the procedure being performed.

Procedure:

Hold the scaler’s handpiece with a comfortable grip, ensuring a firm but relaxed grasp.
Position the scaling tip at a 0-45 degree angle to the tooth surface.
Gently and gradually guide the tip along the tooth surface, moving in small, overlapping strokes.
Pay attention to areas with heavy calculus or plaque buildup, giving them extra attention.
Maintain a constant flow of water to rinse away debris and keep the tip and treatment area clean.
Take breaks as needed to allow the patient to rinse and rest their mouth.
